Lex Lavo - Coogi Sweater (Music Video)

Peep the latest cut off Lavo's mixtape Bodega Dreams 2. Lately this has been one of my favorite tracks to play in the whip. Watch the video above, and make sure you hop over the download link below and pick up his project.

Black Dave - Wadadadang Feat. Bodega Bamz

This is my first time hearing Black Dave, and so far I enjoyed his layed back, melodic flow. The real star of the song however is the Tanboys general Bodega Bamz, as this is probably his best verse since the release of his Strictly 4 My P.A.P.I.Z. mixtape.

Heat Blaze - Born Alone Die Alone

Fresh off releasing the first single off his debut solo effort, Heat Blaze finally drops Born Alone Die Alone. A walk through of his life through his eyes. The bulk of the production came from Kenny At is me and John F30, with two produced by our own BeatsByBags. Head over the download link below. Bless.

Heat Blaze - Set Straight (Single)

I've had the pleasure of working with Heat Blaze for about 7 years now, and every subsequent project he releases outshines the prior one. This song is no different, and is the first release from Heat Blaze's debut "underground" album, Born Alone Die Alone, which drops later today. I have the honor of producing two songs on the album, this being one of them. The track doesn't contain any samples, and contains a mixture of airy synths, dynamic drums, and winds. Lyrically, each verse covers a different topic which needs to be "set straight" or elaborated on.

Common - War (Audio Stream)

A few years after releasing the excellent The Dreamer/The Believer album, Common returns with the first single off of his new album, Nobody Smiling, and just like the last one, is produced entirely by No-ID. Strikingly different from the singles from his last album, which all seemed to be meticulously produced using a number of production techniques, the instrumental crafted here seems to be nothing more than a drumless loop, but the song is probably better for it (think Ghostface's "Gunz N Razors").

Run The Jewels - A Christmas Fucking Miracle (Music Video)

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Right in time for the holidays, El-P & Killer Mike dropped the video for my favorite song off of their excellent free album, Run The Jewels. I'm also very happy to post this because although I'm admittedly a bigger Killer Mike fan than an El-P fan when it comes their rapping, El-P's verse on this is probably my favorite verse of all of 2013. I still get goosebumps when I hear it.

Alex Wiley - Suck It (Revolution) (Music Video)

Up-and-coming rapper Alex Wiley releases the final video for his psychedelic music video trilogy, this one being one of my favorite songs off of his debut mixtape, Club Wiley.
