Deltron 3030 - City Rising From The Ashes (Video 2)

Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Dan The Automator, and DJ Kid Koala just released  this alternate video  to "City Rising From The Ashes". The song is off of their long-delayed, recently released album, Event 2, a follow-up to their classic self-titled release.  The album continues the narrative themes set in the first album, including a post-apocalyptic dystopian future, political corruption, philosophy, and overall, how no matter how much things change over time, some things seem to never change. 

V.Cha$e - 5 Star Hotel Feat. Kid Art

Directed by Kid Art, V.Cha$e, & Cartier Court, Vinny Cha$e releases the music video for "5 Star Hotel", off of his King's Landing mixtape. In my opinion, Vinny's Cheer$ Club is second to none when it comes to independent, self-produced music videos. The cinematography is truly top-notch, and this is in no small part due to Vinny being a director before starting his rap career. 

Tsu Surf - House In Virginia

Tsunami Surf recently released this new song from his upcoming TsuMe project. The song follows a linear story of sex, betrayal, and HIV. In my personal opinion, Tsu Surf is one of the most underrated "Battle Rappers" in terms of recognition as an overall artist. Spotted at 2DBZ.

Lil B - Rob The Jeweler (Audio Stream)

In preparation for his new mixtape, '05 Fuck 'Em, Lil B releases a new song off the project, "Rob The Jeweler". To make up for the fact that he hasn't released a mixtape in 6 months (an eternity in Basedworld), the mixtape will be 100+ Tracks. Hopefully we'll see it sooner than later.

After shooting an alternative video for his first verse at the end of A$AP Ant's "The Way It Go" music video, the full version has dropped, and contains a surprise feature by Method Man!

Troy Ave - New York City (The Album)

As the new front-runner for the less-than-effective "Bring New York Back" movement, Troy Ave has been making quite a name for himself in the past year or so. Before hearing this album, I had only heard him from a few features, not really paying much attention. When this album dropped digitally, for free, I decided to give him a chance. I was initially skeptical of him because of his connection with a movement which I feel is  slightly arrogant, dictating that New York artists with a "traditional" New York sound should be first in line for success. As a New Yorker who appreciates all sub-genres of rap, regardless of region, I strongly disagree with those sentiments. Regardless, I decided to give Troy's album a chance, and was pleasantly surprised by what I heard.
