e.d.g.e. - General Admission

Few artist get me as excited with each and every release like e.d.g.e. does. It's a shame he hasn't gotten more exposure, but that's what we at RapMaticJM are here for. The preview is below, but honestly, you should just skip that and go ahead download it, and thank me later (no Drake).

Uneek - Clique (Freestyle)

Let me be the first to introduce you to Uneek, a breath of fresh air, hailing from the Dirty Jerz. The flow and lyricism is beyond what I'm accustomed to when dealing with local artist around my area. Peep the short sample above, and check out his latest tape, Concrete Dream. Peace.

Joey Bada$$ - FunkMaster Flex Freestyle

Joey took a trip to the FunkMaster Flex show, and showed off some of his freestyling prowess. Peep the preview below, and as always around here, download link follows.

Basquiat at The Gagosian Gallery

Jay-Z, Kanye West, Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz...Just a crop of Hip-Hop artist that featured songs with a shout out to the late great Jean-Michel Basquiat. Started as a graffiti artist under the pseudonym "SAMO" standing for "Same Old Shit", who went on to be one of the most influential artist of the 80's up until his early departure at the age of 27. The Gagosian Gallery in New York will feature a slew of his art work from February 7th, up until April 6th. If you have even the slightest of time, I highly recommend you check it out.

Frank Ramz - Icons (download link)

Frank Ramz dropped the video for his track Icons a week back. We were left with a promise that the song would be available for download in the upcoming days. Well that day is here and we have the download for you great people. You're welcome. Peace, love, and respect.

Rich Hil - SYLDD (Review)

I first heard Ricky on one of his dozens of early Kid Cudi collaborations. A few fallouts, rehab trips, and label drops, and here we have his long awaited abum, Support Your Local Drug Dealer.

Kid Tsunami - Bang Exclusive (ft. Sean Price)

This is my first time listening to any work by Kid Tsunami, and I gotta say the production is tight. He enlists the Brooklyn veteran, Sean Price, to lace his first single off his upcoming album, The Chase. Peep the video above, and look for the album featuring the likes of Masta Ace, Kool G Rap, KRS-One, and other legends, releasing the first of next month.
